The Cricket-Stats.com SLPL Team of the Week for the first week of the Sri Lanka Premier League 2012.
The team is selected based on their performance statistics for the first week of this years Sri Lanka Premier League. The side is comprised of the best six batsmen (including a wicket keeper) and best 5 bowlers.
If the top 6 batsmen do not include a wicket keeper then number 6 on that list is dropped and replaced by the wicket keeper with the best batting stats of the week.
Similarly the top five bowlers will always include at least one seam bowler and one spinner. As with the wicket keeper, if the top 5 bolwers does not include a spinner or seam bowler then the fifth bowler on the list will be replace with the best performing bowler of the type that is missing.
