The whole side is dominated by Englishmen with only two Australians featuring in the side. The batting was particularly strong from and England perspective with Ian Bell and Ravi Bopara both answering their critics in fine style.
Eoin Morgan found his form again after a tough winter and underlined his importance to England's limited overs side as a finished with and unbeaten 89 (And series high score) in the first match.
